16 Ways To Tell If You Are An Old Soul

How can you tell if you are an old soul? Are there differences in traits or behaviors? What signs can I look for that can help me differentiate the difference?

16 ways to tell if you are an old soul

Generally speaking, we are all old souls, but some of us have been here longer than others.

The word “old” is only relative to time. Because time is linear and our souls are eternal, 10,000 years would be the blink of an eye.

Dolores Cannon believes that we need to incarnate many, many times to learn all of the lessons we came here for.

16 Ways To Tell If You Are An Old Soul

1. You Understand Many Of Life’s Deeper Lessons.

For some people, it is hard to fathom that the soul of a child may be much older than the soul of his or her parents. For these particular people, this is a sign that their soul might be younger than yours. When you begin to understand why you keep incarnating to this 3rd dimensional reality, it becomes similar to the movie, Groundhog Day, where Phil wakes up each day to find out that it’s still February 2nd until he learns how to remove his ego and starts doing kind deeds for others.

Once you realize that time, space, energy and matter are 3rd dimensional products, the theory of time becomes irrelevant, thus the theory of how old your soul is also becomes irrelevant.

But for the sake of understanding how old your soul may be, we’ll continue!

2. You Are In Touch With Your Natural Abilities Or Have An Extreme Interest In These Abilities.

Some people are born with innate gifts, such as special healing abilities or psychic abilities. The truth is that we all possess these abilities, but an older soul is more in tune with how to access and implement these abilities in the name of humanity. If you don’t have any particular ability, but have a strong interest in them, this is simply your soul trying to recall these abilities that you may have had in a previous lifetime.

3. You Become Spiritually Aware.

Everyone is pure consciousness, but many people have a difficult time understanding what this means. Your soul is pure consciousness and love. It has a unique understanding of how the matrix is being played on this planet and understands that everything we do as a collective will help to facilitate the awakening of others.

4. You Understand The Importance Of Forgiveness.

Some people are old souls who still have much to learn because they are trapped inside the box with their ideologies, they are stubborn, or they have not learned the importance of forgiveness. By forgiving yourself and others, we can release any karma between these people.

5. You’re Able To Transcend Ego.

It’s nearly impossible for anyone to completely transcend ego 100% of the time but simply being aware of our ego and how it plays against unity consciousness is a definite sign of an old soul. On the other side, there is no ego. During your life review, you will re-live your ego and will see how it affected others, as well as yourself. At this point in “time”, you will probably make a soul contract with the hopes of overcoming ego and atoning for whatever ego issues you had in your previous incarnation.

6. You’re Able To Transcend Materialism.

Money and materialism are products of this 3rd dimensional reality and it’s easy to succumb to materialism, especially when it’s in your face through advertising, programming and peer pressure. An older soul realizes that money is non-existent on the other side and it generally takes away from who we truly are as spiritual beings.

Those who are older souls will generally use money as a tool to either help facilitate their spiritual progression through spiritual retreats or by possibly creating a lavish feng shui home decorated with spiritual meaning versus the most luxurious furnishings. They may also use their money to help others who are less fortunate.

7. You Are Able To Understand The Concept That Your Body Is A Shell For Your Soul.

Before you were born, you not only chose your parents, you also chose your life situations and challenges that would help to facilitate your spiritual growth while atoning for any previous karma. The body that you are currently in is simply a vessel for your soul.

Your name is what your soul currently refers itself as, but in previous lifetimes, you had many different names and you have lived many previous lives as either a male or a female. Your name and title are both associated with ego because ultimately, you are infinite consciousness and we are all on the same team.

8. You Seem To Have A Special Connection To Eras Long Before You Were Born.

Did you ever watch an old movie or see some artwork from a specific era in time and have a connection to that era? Chances are, you lived a previous life during that time period and this is your cellular memory letting you know!

9. You Have An Understanding Of What You Need To Do To Complete Your Spiritual Progression.

Just by making it this far, you are more awakened than most people on this planet. You have an understanding of Universal laws and what is left to do on your soul contract. Even if you are not specifically sure of either, your higher self and spirit guides will continue to lead you in the right direction.

10. You Have A Strong Feeling That Home Isn’t Earth.

Did you ever look at a random area of the sky and stare at an unknown star for no particular reason? Do you have a special connection with specific star systems such as the Pleiades or Orion’s Belt? Do wars and corruption make you feel uneasy, as if they didn’t exist where you originally came from? Are you one of the souls who volunteered to come here at this specific point in time to help with the Earth’s ascension? If you answered yes to any of these questions, then chances are, Earth is not your home planet.

11. You Tend To Be A Loner.

The stigma on the word loner is often condescending, but those who are old souls are merely looking for other fragments of themselves and will often distance themselves from younger souls who need more incarnations into a 3rd dimensional planet. Older souls will seek out other like-minded people because there’s a comfort and familiarity with these types of people who will help to facilitate each others spiritual progression.

12. You Have A Rebellious Nature.

Whether you rebel from religion, laws or anything else, this is a sign that your soul knows the only true laws… the Laws of the Universe. While you respect the reasoning and intention behind laws and religion, you might not be compelled to use these as absolute laws when you know there are a set of higher laws that are intended to facilitate our spiritual progressions.

13. You Have A Burning Desire To Attain Truth And Inner Wisdom.

Many older souls can easily see through the lies we’ve been taught through religion, politics and through our educational facilities. While they realize they are all one with the universe, they also want the truth exposed to help other people’s awakening process. They also continue to seek knowledge in the spiritual, metaphysical and esoteric fields and will absorb this information much easier than anything they were taught in school.

14. You Are Not Controlling Of Others.

Older souls are more accepting, not just of other people, but of circumstances as well. For example, while you don’t approve of the corruption within politics, you understand how the corruption will help to awaken other people to the truth. You respect the free will of others and are more likely to use tact than verbal demands of others. You tend to be more of a team player than anything else.

15. You Sense A Separation Between Yourself And The “Real World”.

As you transcend ego and materialism, you find yourself living a different lifestyle. While this lifestyle is unique to your current incarnation, there also seems to be a familiarity of the direction you’re heading.

16. You Are Curious Whether You’re An Old Soul Or Not.

Many young souls wouldn’t ask this question or much less be concerned about it. While many older souls aren’t concerned either, for different reasons, they simply “know” they’re old souls, but it’s nice to have affirmations that coincide with your spiritual progression.

There are many lessons we have learned throughout our lifetimes, all of which has culminated into this particular incarnation. All of your previous life incarnations are embedded into your cellular memory and can be recalled through past life regressions.

Most of the people on this planet are old souls, yet many remain unawakened and still have a lot more to learn and will need several more incarnations to a 3rd dimensional planet.

Many of those who are awakened will probably move on to their next level of spiritual progression. It’s important to remember that this is not a race because in the end, we all win. Enjoy every millisecond in this incarnation because this may be the last time you’ll ever experience a 3rd dimensional reality!

Pope Francis Demands That Supranational Bodies Like The United Nations Be Given More Authority To Control The World

by Geoffrey Grider

Pope Francis makes his best case for multilateralism in a new teaching letter, calling for more authority for supranational organizations like the United Nations.

I will give Pope Francis credit for one thing, and that is he constantly continues to prove me right when I make the connection between the Vatican and Revelation 17 and 18.

We Read Those Sections Of Our King James Bibles?
We see a multi-headed beast that a woman rides, the ‘holy mother’ church, and it is both a religious system of control as well as a political system of control.

And we see one man in charge of both. Jorge Bergoglio rules as Pope Francis over the Roman Catholic Church, and he is the king over the Holy See, the legally recognized government of the Vatican.

“And the kings of the earth, who have committed fornication and lived deliciously with her, shall bewail her, and lament for her, when they shall see the smoke of her burning, Standing afar off for the fear of her torment, saying, Alas, alas, that great city Babylon, that mighty city! for in one hour is thy judgment come.” Revelation 18:9,10 (KJB)

Pope Francis hates free and open societies that run on the free and fair exchange of goods and services created by the private sector, what we call capitalism.

The AP reports that “Pope Francis says the coronavirus pandemic has proven that the “magic theories” of market capitalism have failed and that the world needs a new type of politics that promotes dialogue and solidarity and rejects war at all costs.”

Yes, and replace it with what? Socialism? Communism? What system would the Jesuit Socialist from Argentina prefer? Hmm… (…)

Pope Francis Calls For Giving United Nations Organization ‘Real Teeth’ To Control The Entire World
FROM BREITBART NEWS: “The twenty-first century is witnessing a weakening of the power of nation states, chiefly because the economic and financial sectors, being transnational, tend to prevail over the political,” the pope writes in the encyclical letter Fratelli Tutti (Brothers All), released on Sunday.

“Given this situation, it is essential to devise stronger and more efficiently organized international institutions, with functionaries who are appointed fairly by agreement among national governments, and empowered to impose sanctions,” the pope advises in the 43,000-word text.

“When we talk about the possibility of some form of world authority regulated by law, we need not necessarily think of a personal authority,” the pontiff asserts.

“Still, such an authority ought at least to promote more effective world organizations, equipped with the power to provide for the global common good, the elimination of hunger and poverty and the sure defence of fundamental human rights.”

Among the possible candidates for such a role, the pope turns his attention to the United Nations Organization, with which he enjoys close ties.

“In this regard, I would also note the need for a reform of the United Nations Organization, and likewise of economic institutions and international finance, so that the concept of the family of nations can acquire real teeth,” Francis declares, citing a text from his predecessor, Pope Benedict XVI.

“Needless to say, this calls for clear legal limits to avoid power being co-opted only by a few countries and to prevent cultural impositions or a restriction of the basic freedoms of weaker nations on the basis of ideological differences,” he writes.

The work of the United Nations, the pope insists, “can be seen as the development and promotion of the rule of law, based on the realization that justice is an essential condition for achieving the ideal of universal fraternity.”

“There is need to prevent this Organization from being delegitimized, since its problems and shortcomings are capable of being jointly addressed and resolved,” he adds.

“The seventy-five years since the establishment of the United Nations and the experience of the first twenty years of this millennium have shown that the full application of international norms proves truly effective, and that failure to comply with them is detrimental,” Francis states.

The Charter of the United Nations is “an obligatory reference point of justice and a channel of peace,” he declares, and thus “there can be no room for disguising false intentions or placing the partisan interests of one country or group above the global common good.”

Among the normative instruments for the peaceful resolution of controversies, “preference should be given to multilateral agreements between states, because, more than bilateral agreements, they guarantee the promotion of a truly universal common good and the protection of weaker states,” he declares.

At the same time, Pope Francis notes certain “shortcomings” of the international community, including “its lack of coordination in complex situations, its lack of attention to fundamental human rights and to the critical needs of certain groups.” (Source)

11 New Symptoms Of The Collective Awakening

During the run up to 2012 the world was fascinated by the idea of the shift, that is, an awakening that first takes place within the individual, then radiates outward into our communities and societies at large, changing the world for the better.

At that time, attention was mainly focused around the personal dynamics involved in this, including the work of navigating the upheaval and turmoil that precedes inner peace and profound transformation.

Much of this shift was triggered by newfound awareness of the corruption and deception in our political and social institutions. The pain of realizing that the material world is built on lies left us with no place to go but inward.

Symptoms Of The Collective Awakening

We explored meditation and energy healing, radically altered our diets, opened our minds to different ways of thinking and relating to the world, embraced ancestral wisdom, and we fearlessly answered the call to purge, heal and connect.

The energy around this was very intense, but it inspired a tremendous sense of wonder and creativity.

But, as all things do, the flow in this new space began to ebb, and since around 2016 it has felt like a major regression happened, taking us back into the dense, murky energies of cognitive dissonance and willful ignorance.

So much so, that the last few years has had many of us wondering what the hell the point was in all of this. We began to doubt that our willingness to change had any real value in a world so hopelessly shipwrecked in the shallow end of the pool.

When 2020 began, nothing had substantively changed in the world around us, and for many of us, this muddled our sense of purpose and direction. Many of us fell back into old habits and old pursuits. Business and pleasure.

And then all of a sudden, boom! Here we are.

No denying it now, the train has left the station and everything is being exposed.

All of the darkness, depravity and evil that we’ve been collectively covering up and ignoring for generations is squealing and squirming in this flash of bright light.

The powers that be see what’s happening, they’ve revealed their hand, and they’re pulling out all the stops in order to maintain the illusion of control.

Indeed, we find ourselves in quite a vulnerable position, and since we’ve been quarantined from all of the distractions that’ve helped to blanket us from reality, we can no longer avoid the truth.

A new awakening is happening now, and this time it is global. We can no longer numb ourselves to this.

“We numb vulnerability — when we’re waiting for the call… This is the world we live in. We live in a vulnerable world. And one of the ways we deal with it is we numb vulnerability… And I think there’s evidence — and it’s not the only reason this evidence exists, but I think it’s a huge cause — We are the most in-debt … obese … addicted and medicated adult cohort in U.S. history.

“The problem is — and I learned this from the research — that you cannot selectively numb emotion. You can’t say, here’s the bad stuff. Here’s vulnerability, here’s grief, here’s shame, here’s fear, here’s disappointment. I don’t want to feel these. I’m going to have a couple of beers and a banana nut muffin.” ~ Brené Brown

As the awakening rolls forward, it’s taking everyone with it. How it ends is anyone’s guess, and since we’re all along for the ride, it may be insightful to connect some of what we’re feeling to the bigger picture of the change that is coming our way.

Perhaps You Can Relate To Some Of These New Signs Of The Awakening?

  1. You see a clear connection between the chaos in the world and the inner turmoil you’ve been diligently working to transform.
  2. You just don’t do fear anymore. It no longer has the pull on you it once did. You know yourself to be spirit.
  3. You understand that the universe is mental, and that your thoughts are the most precious tools of creation. For this, you readily notice when your mind is slipping from the present moment and when it tries to engage you in fear. You have the power and determination to bring it back into alignment with your purpose and mission.
  4. You’re learning how to powerfully use your voice to contribute to the awakening and to help those who cannot speak for themselves.
  5. You don’t play sides, and you don’t choose a team. You watch, observe, and disengage when you see people acting out on agendas that are not their own.
  6. You see the futility and danger in belief systems, and you don’t bow to authority. You stay firmly grounded in what is real and what can be verified by your own experience. You are your own master.
  7. You give people of all beliefs the freedom to expose their fear, anger and confusion however it may surface. You don’t judge, debate, or try to correct people who don’t see the world as you do.
  8. You care for yourself first so that you may have more power to care for others.
  9. You deliberately work to foster connection between yourself and others, above and beyond the superficiality so prevalent in public discourse.
  10. You fully trust in this process and accept the fate of the world as part of it.
  11. You recognize that your most powerful task is that of letting go.

Final Thoughts

The stakes are incredibly high right now and the future of human freedom is at stake. This is not hyperbole.

The Great Reset [which is the New World Order] is coming our way, and while the globalists, central banks and international agencies would like to hijack this and steer us toward a new form of technocratic worldwide Orwellian slavery, the human race has never before had such a true opportunity to free itself from their chains.

It’s game on people, time to play your part.

Dark Rulers Are Trying To Suppress Our Ascension

Humanity has been sought after our entire existence due to a little thing called human DNA. Our DNA has been damaged and we have been dumbed down to the point that we’ve never known how incredible we really are.

Alien Greys Demons Archons

Our DNA is being activated meaning, those two biological strands of DNA (in 1st photo) are starting to talk to those 10 strands of DNA that spiral and intertwine up thru them.

Those 10 strands of DNA have been intentionally cut from us (in 2nd photo) because those 10 strands are our inter-dimensional strands.

Dna Strands Intentionally Cut Genetically Engineered

They “cut” these strands so they couldn’t talk to the two biological strands. They couldn’t communicate so it kept us in a very low vibrational existence. It’s keeping us isolated from an incredible reality.

Meaning, our DNA is made up of 12 strands and there’s one strand for each dimension and that certain strand corresponds to that density of experience it’s the experiences of these higher frequency densities is what continues our evolution and this is what they’re trying to keep us from.

That reality is where all of our psychic abilities are, telepathy, healing abilities, time travel, that’s where your entire Akashic records are held and much, much more!

This dark enemy is trying to erase the original blueprint of the human DNA that we are clawing our way back up to achieve bringing us back to our original blueprint as at the time of our creation. These dark rulers are trying to suppress our Ascension!

We need to look at the great lengths these psychopaths go to to downgrade our DNA. Meaning, they’ve tried to suppress our Ascension with chemicals, toxins, poisons, vaccinations, GMO foods, they bombard us with low frequency signals to keep us in control.

Currently, they are in a massive push for physical, global control because they cannot stop what’s coming due to this incredible Human Awakening!! It is a true testament to our incredible power the draconian lengths these dirty players have to go to.

These Elite Off World psychopaths live in extreme fear of humanity waking up and expanding our awareness because they lose everything meaning total control of their entire empire.

The enemy’s plan is to erase every bit of our original coding to accomplish complete control over the human race. I’ve said this before I believe that’s what happened to the Greys.

Meaning, back in the ’80s there was a major phase of abductions of humanity by the Greys because they we’re becoming completely artificial intelligence.

They were losing all power of individual thought and needed our DNA to bring that back but to no avail. They too were victims of this Reptilian elementThey are and have been a dying race.

These dark players goal is to hybridize the human race. To be a race of corrupt, non-empathetic AI with no individual thought process and emotion.

Because, with emotion we ask questions, so in turn, we want answers which is a major threat to them.

They want us to be a corrupt, artificial bloodline so we’re easier to control. They are trying to suppress our frequency and to do that biologically they do that through poisons, toxic vaccinations, poisonous food etc.

To do this consciously, they do this through frequency bombardment of low vibrational signals. People that are not mentally stable to begin with are easily corrupted by these signals.

Meaning, if they’re about to step off the edge these signals and frequencies will push them. Meaning, they lose their minds.

These dark rulers know boundaries and restrictions limit our spiritual growth. Because, not only does our DNA exist biologically but dimensionally as well. They have been trying to destroy us biologically and, at the same time, destroying us consciously, but that’s not going to happen.

These elite psychopaths know they’re about to lose their mighty empire and they’re not about to let it go without a fight. Hence, the current global situation. It’s going to get rough, real rough but humanity has no other option but to fight.

Beyond Physicalism

Philosopher Hedda Hassel Mørch defends the idea that consciousness pervades the cosmos

Philosophy has taken a beating lately, even, or especially, from philosophers, who are compulsive critics, even, especially, of their own calling. But bright young women and men still aspire to be full-time truth-seekers in our corrupt, capitalist world. Over the past five years, I have met a bunch of impressive young philosophers while doing research on the mind-body problem. Hedda Hassel Mørch, for example. I first heard Mørch (pronounced murk) speak in 2015 at a New York University workshop on integrated information theory, and I ran into her at subsequent events at NYU and elsewhere. She makes a couple of appearances—one anonymous–in my book Mind-Body Problems. We recently crossed tracks in online chitchat about panpsychism, which proposes that consciousness is a property of all matter, not just brains. I’m a panpsychism criticshe’s a proponent. Below Mørch answers some questions.—John Horgan

Horgan: Why philosophy? And especially philosophy of mind?

Mørch: I remember thinking at some point that if I didn’t study philosophy I would always be curious about what philosophers know. And even if it turned out that they know nothing then at least I would know I wasn’t missing anything.

One reason I was attracted to philosophy of mind in particular was that it seemed like an area where philosophy clearly has some real and useful work to do. In other areas of philosophy, it might seem that many central questions can either be deflated or taken over by science. For example, in ethics, one might think there are no moral facts and so all we can do is figure out what we mean by the words “right” and “wrong”. And in metaphysics, questions such as “is the universe infinite” can now, at least arguably, be understood as scientific questions. But consciousness is a phenomenon which is obviously real, and the question of how it arises from the brain is clearly a substantive, not merely verbal question, which does not seem tractable by science as we know it. As David Chalmers says, science as we know it can only tackle the so-called easy problems of consciousness, not the hard problem.

Horgan: Did you have any odd experiences of self-awareness as a child, like those described in this column, or mystical experiences? And if so have they influenced your philosophy?

MørchWhen I was maybe 12, I remember sitting on a bus and suddenly being very struck and puzzled by the fact that I am me and not someone else. That sounds like the same kind of experience as you had, though not as intense. I’m not sure how it influenced me, but it might have made me more inclined toward to deflationary views of the self along the lines of Derek Parfit, Galen Strawson and Buddhism. The experience represented the self as very hard to make sense of, and if so it makes sense to deflate it as much as possible.

Horgan: I’ve called integrated information theory an example of neo-geocentrism, in which we project human traits onto nature. Am I being too critical?

Mørch: IIT implies a form of panpsychism, which projects consciousness onto nature, and this might seem geocentric or anthropocentric. But one person’s anthropocentrism is another person’s anti-exceptionalism. If everything is conscious, then humans and animals are not special exceptions to the rest of nature, in the sense of uniquely possessing the rare property of consciousness; rather, we are just like everything else. From this perspective, panpsychism is more in the spirit of the heliocentric revolution than a step back to geocentrism.

I should also clarify that neither IIT nor panpsychism in general project advanced consciousness, such as human-like cognition or self-awareness, onto most parts of nature, only extremely simple qualities. Projecting advanced consciousness would be unreasonable and perhaps geo- or anthropocentric. But projecting simple consciousness, in my view, actually contributes to an elegant solution to the mind-body problem which removes all the “epicycles” generated by physicalism and dualism—just like heliocentrism did to geocentrism.

Horgan: Okay, maybe I have been too critical. But can you tell readers, briefly, why they should take panpsychism seriously?

Mørch: Physicalism and dualism are the two main alternatives to panpsychism.

Physicalism implies that consciousness doesn’t exist. Physical science cannot capture what it’s like for someone to have conscious experiences, such as seeing red or being in pain, or any of the qualitative or subjective features of consciousness. So if consciousness is physical, it’s not qualitative or subjective, and therefore not really consciousness after all.

Horgan: Did you have any odd experiences of self-awareness as a child, like those described in this column, or mystical experiences? And if so have they influenced your philosophy?

Horgan: Okay, maybe I have been too critical. But can you tell readers, briefly, why they should take panpsychism seriously?

Mørch: Physicalism and dualism are the two main alternatives to panpsychism.

Physicalism implies that consciousness doesn’t exist. Physical science cannot capture what it’s like for someone to have conscious experiences, such as seeing red or being in pain, or any of the qualitative or subjective features of consciousness. So if consciousness is physical, it’s not qualitative or subjective, and therefore not really consciousness after all.

Dualism implies that consciousness doesn’t matter. Physical science shows no sign of any non-physical forces causally influencing the brain or body—everything seems explainable in neurological, electrochemical, or other physical terms. So if consciousness is wholly distinct from the physical world, as dualism says, it probably doesn’t influence our actions at all; it’s purely epiphenomenal.

Panpsychism avoids both of these consequences. Put very simply [more details here], according to panpsychism, science only describes matter from the outside: it tells us how physical things relate to each other and to us, not how they are in themselves. But every outside needs an inside. We know the inside of one physical object, namely ourselves, and this inside is consciousness. Why not think other things have the same kind of inside as well? If so, consciousness gets to play an essential role in the physical world, without being reduced to something purely physical.

Horgan: Okay, but will science ever find a solution to the solipsism problem?

Mørch: One might think panpsychism solves this problem, because it tells us that all physical things are conscious. But panpsychism does not imply that all things are conscious as a whole. Human brains (or certain parts of it) are conscious as a whole, but tables and chairs are probably not—they should rather be regarded as mere collections of conscious particles. The question is whether the same holds for, for example, insects, jellyfish and plants.

To solve this problem, we should of course look at empirical correlations between human consciousness and physical properties of the brain. From this, we can reasonably infer that animals fairly similar to us are also conscious (as a whole), but when it comes to organisms like jellyfish, which are very different from us, I think we cannot determine in a principled way whether they are similar enough to also be conscious (as a whole). Therefore, it seems that empirical studies alone cannot give a full answer.

I think IIT has a promising approach to this. It says that not only must we study correlations between consciousness and brain properties from the empirical, third person or objective perspective, we must also consider the structure of consciousness as it appears to us from the first-person or subjective perspective, and infer the physical criteria of consciousness from this. This is known as the axiomatic argument for IIT [more details here]. One might object to the specifics of this argument, but as a general approach it seems to me like the only clear way forward, assuming the problem can’t be solved in a standard empirical way.

Horgan: I’ve argued that we will never find a single solution to the mind-body problem. What do you think?

MørchI think we already found it, the problem is just to convince more people!

Horgan: What about quantum mechanics? Does it have anything to do with consciousness?

MørchAs I said, science only captures the physical world “from the outside”, or more precisely, in terms of its relational structure, and this also holds for quantum mechanics. Some seem to think quantum structure is more likely to be connected to consciousness than classical structure, perhaps because features such as indeterminism and non-locality are perceived as distinctively mentalistic. But as I see it, any kind of physical structure is equally in need of an “inside” or an intrinsic, and therefore conscious, basis.

One might think quantum entanglement has something to do with mental combination, that is, with how simple particle consciousness combines into complex human and animal-type consciousness. This is roughly because an entangled system is irreducible to the sum of its parts similarly to how combined consciousness seems to be, and perhaps also because, within a conscious mind, information seems to be shared instantly between all its parts, which can also be seen as similar to how entanglement works. One problem with this idea, though, is that our combined consciousness is confined to the brain, but entanglement is not, insofar as evidence suggests that the whole universe is an entangled system.

Horgan: Thanks, for a comment on quantum mechanics and consciousness, that’s surprisingly clear. Do you believe, and perhaps hope, that science, even if it cannot understand the mind, might transform it through brain chips or other technologies?

MørchI’m not very informed about this, but it seems to me that the brain is so complex that it might be difficult to drastically interfere with it such that consciousness changes in an interesting way rather than just breaking down. I also think there are so many interesting experiences available already, so I don’t strongly hope for it.

Horgan: Do you believe in free will?

MørchI don’t know—William James puts it nicely when he says that the question of free will is undecidable in theory, and so, “craving the sense of either peace or power”, we can only choose to believe in it or not on pragmatic grounds.

I also like Galen Strawson’s view (from his book Freedom and Belief) that although we have good reason to think free will is impossible, most of us are still psychologically incapable of not believing in it, but maybe with practices such as meditation we can eventually become capable of not believing it. But it seems to me perhaps the opposite could also happen: if we develop our minds in a certain way maybe we can come to understand how some kind of freedom is possible after all.

Horgan: What about God?

MørchNot really. But there is a religious view I find interesting, which is pandeism: the view that God used to exist, and be the only thing that existed, and then transformed himself into the universe, and so no longer exists. The reason God did this was basically for fun, or to see what happened. And maybe at some point the universe will transform itself back into God—that would be like nirvana or heaven. But then eventually God would get bored again and start the cycle over. As I understand it, this is close to some parts of Hindu cosmology.

It might also resonate with your psychedelic vision of God that you’ve written about? Though this version seems less depressing.

Horgan: I like that! I think I’m a pandeist! What’s your utopia?

MørchI suspect that true utopias are impossible, because all pleasure will eventually get boring, and to avoid boredom one must take the risk of pain. As Schopenhauer says, “Life swings like a pendulum backward and forward between pain and boredom”, except the pendulum also swings through their opposites, pleasure and fun, which at least makes the cycle more bearable, and worth partaking in. This is also partly why the pandeistic view I just described appeals to me.

But until boredom sets in, I would probably like to spend some time in the garden of Epicurus, where they lived a simple life focused on avoiding pain and enjoying simple food, philosophy and friendship. I especially like Seneca’s description here.

The 5 Pillars of Spiritual Mastery

Spiritual Mastery is defined as the perfection of the spiritual process and a complete understanding as to the nature of reality.

The benefits of Spiritual Mastery are extensive but include the ability to direct one’s destiny, choose one’s future higher-dimensional incarnations, transcend death, perceive the astral and trans-astral realms and perceive all of the non-physical and non-conceptual aspects of the Universe and Reality.

Compounded onto those benefits – one can also achieve Life Mastery in the 3D world (health, abundance, well-being, perfection of the use of energy and having a strong immunity to karma).

It is an elusive state as the vibratory bar for Spiritual Mastery is high – yet with an understanding and application of five main pillars – achieving this state in this life-time (and thus becoming a non-returner to 3D) is certainly possible.

Added to the elusiveness of the state is the fact that the state of Spiritual Mastery cannot be perceived directly from outside of it – and thus Spiritual Perfection remains vibrationally invisible until you are ready to understand directly.

Thus – any teacher (myself included) can only provide sets of tools and road-maps rather than wave a wand and grant you instant Universal Enlightenment. The path must be walked in order to transcend the path and attain an understanding of Truth!

So what are the five main pillars to reflect upon and create if one is serious about attaining Spiritual Mastery?

1. Truth

To attain a state of Spiritual Mastery (and remain there long enough to be able to make use of the state) – one must be committed to the path of truth. All lies cause confusion and distract one from the true path.

Lies, deceptions, trickery and all forms of cheating create karmic effects that dampen one’s vibration and keeps one trapped in a state of separation from Source / Ultimate Truth.

For the Universe to be completely open with you – you must be open with it – lies create barriers and resistances to true intimacy with the Universe.

Spiritual Truth cannot be perceived from any state not aligned to truth – and thus Spiritual Mastery is the product of a transmutation and renunciation of all lies!

2. Impeccability (Ethical Purity)

One of the main reasons why Spiritual Mastery is so hard to attain or to understand in the Western world is because of the unpopularity of being ethical.

Many people cheat, lie, steal, delude themselves or others, engage in control dramas and violate the basic spiritual laws and principles that make a strong relationship to Source possible.

Examples include taking or abusing the sanctity of life, unethical livelihood, sexual misconduct, theft, control (violation of free-will),a lack of respect for the path and a whole host of other ethical issues.

Without the ethical purity in place comprehending high-level spiritual understanding is impossible (there are Universal safeguards in place to prevent people blowing up stars and tearing holes in the Universe or damaging the purity of the Higher Planes – things that would happen if these safeguards were not present!)

Without ethics – whatever one thinks one knows may be false and in some cases one can become subservient to the energies of the Lower Astral – a phenomenon most notable in light-worker channellers who have not yet transcended control dramas.

In my experience of the light-worker community – beneath a superficial veneer of love and light lies a dark world of criminal behaviour, corruption, cheating, lying and a large array of other unresolved control dramas which tragically ends in victim-hood, sickness, misfortune, suffering and death – the end result of ignoring ethics.

The worst enemies of spiritual enlightenment are lying and cheating – both of which will cost you in energy terms many more times the cost of playing fair and true.

For as long as you have the tendency to lie, cheat or steal – spiritual understanding will be impossible to attain. When you cheat with intent – the karmic effect is amplified. Whatever benefit you may believe you obtained through deception and cheating – will quickly be outweighed by the subsequent depletion of energy.

What’s worse – in that depleted state – other people can then cheat you (what goes around comes around) and push you further down into the karmic web. Trying for a short-cut by cheating will always find you walking the hard and long way around.

The one thing that any spiritual teacher cannot teach you is how to live a life of integrity. Either one has it or one does not. It is not something one can learn overnight. Only the experience of life can teach you about the importance of integrity.

Without it – spiritual information, understanding or knowledge is useless – for it is like making a daily visit to the well with a gaping hole in the bottom of the bucket. Nothing can be retained, integrated or made use of.

This is why the world is hungry for spirituality and is not satiated – because there are a host of ethics and integrity issues in the way making retention impossible.

3. Bodily Purity

The body is the temple (the abode) of the Higher Self/ Spirit/ Atman. Keeping a strong relationship to Source requires an extreme level of vibrational purity and freedom from harmful toxins found in almost all foods and drinks on the planet.

The vices of modern day humanity (alcohol and tobacco) are the very things that ruin ones physical temple, destroying one’s light body and creating a further separation from Spiritual Truth.

Eating toxic food consumes vast resources of one’s life-force that could otherwise be directed to the attainment of spiritual understanding!

4. Abundance

Many people struggle with this one primarily because of a separation between the left and right hemispheres of the brain – leading one to polarize spirituality and abundance as mutually exclusive opposites.

Poverty then naturally ensues and one spends many years of one’s life working hard for little abundance instead of spending time doing spiritual practice!

Being spiritual and monetarily abundant simultaneously is a matter of transcending dualistic consciousness that attaches to the either/or mindset.

Having money with no spiritual understanding gives the experience of basic materialism and existence on Earth with no spiritual perspective – being separated from the inner.

Being spiritual and having no money keeps one trapped in a space of being powerless to do or create anything in the outer. Neither are balanced spiritual states and keep one trapped in an either/or and thus stuck in the illusion that one desires to exit.

I was once asked why I promote being abundant as a Spiritual Master. The answer is the matter of time.

Spiritual Mastery takes much effort and time – thus you will need to work less. You will need all of the time you can muster up to perfect the spiritual process and death can come to call at any moment. Abundance can buy you more time which is the most valuable thing you can buy for your path.

Without plenty of abundance, you will be bound to the wheel of time through doing hard and low paid work – this will weaken your energy and destroy your body long before you are able to perfect a state of Spiritual Mastery.

5. Free Will

Without an understanding of free-will and an application of that understanding in one’s daily life – Spiritual Mastery will remain nothing more than a distant concept and pursuing it may not be in your best interests. Free Will gives all beings the choice to determine their own path.

Interference with free-will is control and incurs unfavorable karmas. The energy of Source cannot be controlled or manipulated and this explains why holding onto control issues always causes frustration, conflict, power struggles, suffering and further separation from Source.

Without a respect for free-will there is no respect for the sovereignty and uniqueness of all sentient life. When respect for life is absent – one gravitates toward the opposite – death and the associated loss of awareness.

Death affirming actions, choices and beliefs deepen one’s entrapment to the reincarnation cycle.

The Purpose of Synchronicity and Causality

Today’s topic I’m going to be discussing upon is synchronicity.

Synchronicity was first explored in depth by the famous psychiatrist Carl Jung. He explained that synchronicity as “acausal connecting (togetherness) principle” and “meaningful coincidence.”

The main point to gain from Carl Jung understanding of synchronicity is that he viewed not only causality as being a means in determining synchronicity, but also meaning as well. Causality deals within the realm of the physical existence.

With every action there is a equal and opposite reaction. People who base synchronicity upon causality see everything as a reflection of cause and effect. Cause and effect become the template in evaluating synchronicity.

Most people call this just causality and Carl Jung separates the meaning of causality and synchronicity, but also unifies them as being equal to one another when it comes to the purpose of explaining coincidences.

I for one see causality as synchronicity in known form and synchronicity as causality in unknown form. Causality is objective and synchronicity is subjective.

Here’s an example of causality; let’s say you invest $100 into a stock, a week later you need $200 bucks for a overdue bill and you check the stock and see that it’s worth $300 bucks.

The synchronicity is found in the fact that you were able to discover some money when you most needed it.

Most people don’t see this as synchronicity, but instead call this causality since they see the cause and effect.

They see the extra money as being the effect of the cause of investing money in this stock. Many of us don’t equate causality as being the same as synchronicity because of our awareness of the cause, but none the less it is a form of synchronicity.

Now the other form of synchronicity involves meaning. Carl Jung also viewed synchronicity as a “temporally coincident occurrences of acausal events.” Where the meaning of events is found within the informal realm of reasoning. Events that are acausal are dependent upon the individual.

Thus these meanings are impossible to prove because of it’s temporal nature. In this realm synchronicity occurs as a result of the internal world of consciousness. An example Carl Jung used is this:

“It is impossible, with our present resources, to explain ESP, or the fact of meaningful coincidence, as a phenomenon of energy. This makes an end of the causal explanation as well, for “effect” cannot be understood as anything except a phenomenon of energy.

“Therefore it cannot be a question of cause and effect, but of a falling together in time, a kind of simultaneity. Because of this quality of simultaneity, I have picked on the term “synchronicity” to designate a hypothetical factor equal in rank to causality as a principle of explanation.”
Carl Jung

Carl Jung viewed synchronicity as equal to causality only in instances that causality is unable to explain the reasoning for the event.

Thus it is important for us to consider the subjective nature of things that happen in our life, just as much as the objective.

In today’s society we’ve relegated much of the idea of synchronicity to the acausal events that happen in our life.

When we cannot see the cause for a certain coincidence we have the tendency to call this synchronicity, but at the same time we ignore the causality that happens in our everyday life as well. Synchronicity and causality have interchangeable principles, but different contextual application.

This unbalanced understanding of synchronicity creates many problems in our life. We need to see synchronicity and causality as being one and the same. All of life is one big synchronized cause that we’ve agreed to partake in.

There is nothing that happens randomly, only our free-will gives us the flexibility to believe that life is random. When we start to see synchronicity and causality as one we’ll be able to see the unity in life.

Most of us know about the Law of Attraction

The Law of Attraction teaches our thoughts and beliefs create a certain frequency that forms the vibration that our consciousness will vibrate at. This vibration attracts things and events into our field of experience.

What we think and believe literally creates our reality. Thus you could from a philosophical standpoint state that everything that happens is a result of our consciousness, even the events that causality cannot explain.

This helps in unifying Carl Jung’s understanding of causality and synchronicity, thus creating the synchronicity/causality paradigm. As the saying goes:

“What is in is out and what is out is in.”

The purpose of synchronicity is to help individuals remember that everything happens for a reason. Synchronicity is basically our way of remembering with the Higher Order by recognizing the symmetry in life. Things that happen in life do not derive out of randomness.

What may appear to be random at one moment, is only random because of our lack of awareness. When your awareness increases, the randomness in life slowly fades away and you start to see the unity in all things.

Thus we see the wisdom in Carl Jung’s understanding of synchronicity. His philosophy and explanation on synchronicity forms a underlying foundation that explicitly proclaims that there is a underlying force for all of creation.

With this understanding comes the ability to see synchronicity everywhere. Both the objective and subjective nature of existence become tools for discovering the synchronicity(unity) that has always been around us.

The only requirement is for the individual to be-come this awareness. Be-come stands for:

“Coming to the awareness of unity by being it.”

Seeing synchronicity in your everyday life helps one realize that We Are All One. That there is no form of separation whatsoever, except for the ones we’ve decided to experiment in with for reasons of learning more about ourselves and this reality.

Synchronicity can be found anywhere and the only reason we cannot see it is because we’ve formed ideas that are based upon separation.

When causality cannot explain synchronicity it is important for the individual to find the synchronistic meaning to the coincidence, but also important for us to continue searching for the cause and effect reason as well.

We must utilize causality constantly and use meaningful explanations only when the cause and effect escapes our awareness. As you can see with the chart below, meaning should be used to explain coincidences that are a result of contingency.

In the event that there is the absence of certainty in circumstances we should use meaning to explain this event, but only after we determine there is no immediate cause in which can be seen.

That’s a very important factor because all things we eventually can understand through the lenses of causality. Which is why we should strive to understand and discover things in life. There isn’t anything we cannot understand, whatever we place our focus on we can understand.

Synchronicity is equal to causality when cause and effect are unable to explain the coincidence. Nonetheless though, that’s a temporal condition that shall fade away when our awareness increases.

Both causality and synchronicity have a place in our lives; because in the end they are just a different facet of the same understanding.

Be the synchronicity in your life, be the unity in your life and be the unifying force that sees all of existence within the backdrop of the One. For all is one and one we shall always be, now and until the end of eternity. E Pluribus Unum, “Out of many, One.”

That is the anthem for those who wish to be one with Creation. Be One my friend, be your True self and see the beauty in the One Creation.

The 3 Levels of Consciousness All Experience Before Enlightenment

Consciousness is referred to as the state of being aware of yourself, your thoughts, emotions, and feelings and the relationship you have with the world around you.

In the evolution of consciousness, your soul goes through three transformational processes. That is, if you do your inner work.

A part of our purpose in coming into this world is to become what we are destined to be, to become fully conscious humans.

If you’re doing your inner work, you can check your progress by knowing the three levels consciousness goes through before enlightenment is reached.

When you find you’re stuck in level one, don’t get disappointed. Having that awareness is a milestone in your journey. We reveal the key elements of each level to move forward.

1. Ordinary Consciousness

The first and lowest level of the evolutionary process of our consciousness is where we all begin.

This level of consciousness is mostly engaged in the past and the future, seldom in the present moment. All revolve around the past and the future.

The past is often looked upon as a tool for reminding what didn’t work and what should be improved in the future.

In this state of consciousness, the opinions of others matter most and meeting the expectations of others is highly valued.

You identify yourself with the role that you play in the society. Striving to be a good husband, wife or employee is of utmost importance. You don’t question your inner identity because you can’t see it except for the roles you’re expected to play.

The ego plays a bigger role in this state of consciousness, it’s the thing that pushes you to become much better and ahead of the game.

Yet, despite your accomplishments, you still feel empty and maybe even less confident than you were. You can’t see beyond the predetermined rules of society an your ego.

However, the moment you start questioning society, your ego and the shoulds of others, it’s the moment your consciousness starts evolving to the next level.

2. Awakening

The state of awakening comes when you come to the realization of your own self. Of your own reality and the ordinariness of your existence.

It’s when you peak behind the roles you play. You feel that there is something more to these roles and the thoughts that reign over your mind.

You become exhausted by the rules and start to long for freedom. Becoming more conscious and alert, you begin to find your own truth and the purpose you have in this life.

As you gain momentum, you discover the power hidden in self control, not the one rooted in punishment and reward, but rooted in your own understanding of life’s meaning.

This self control liberates your consciousness from identification with the world and provides you the space for your own personal experience.

And as you train and expand your self control you slowly raise your consciousness to the third level.

3. Complete Freedom

The third level is the final liberation and the true celebration of life, the highest peak in the evolution of consciousness where nothing matters but the present moment.

This state of consciousness opens up a whole new world, new perspectives, and an entirely new dimension of existence where you come to embrace the duality of everything.

You start to accept that light and darkness are equally important in your growth, existence, and evolution.

You ultimately come into terms with life, seeing it as it really is, with no ifs and buts, shoulds and coulds. You realize it’s the present moment that is truly real.

You then connect to the peace and quiet within, unmoved by the good and evil, without judgment, and in full connection with other souls and life forms.

In this state of consciousness, you go beyond differences and become as one with others, celebrating life and being joyful of your existence and perfect freedom.

Staying within this state of consciousness leads to enlightenment.

12 Universal Laws

~12 Universal Laws~ – The Mystical Lotus ~ Tiffany Stiles

1) The Law of Divine Oneness

The Law of Divine Oneness is the first of the 12 Universal Laws and it helps us to understand that in this World we live, everything is connected to everything else. Every thought, words, actions and beliefs of ours affect others and the universe around us irrespective of whether the people are near or far away, in other words, beyond time and space.

~12 Universal Laws~ – The Mystical Lotus ~ Tiffany Stiles

2) The Law of Vibration

The Law of Vibration states that everything in the Universe vibrates, moves, and travels in circular patterns. The same principle of vibration in the physical world apply to our feelings, desires, thoughts, dreams and will. Each sound, thought or thing has its own unique vibrational frequency. When you hear people say ‘like attracts like’, they are actually referring to how a vibrational energy can resonate with or is attracted to the same or a similar vibrational energy.

Basically, this is the reason why what others do or say affect us directly or indirectly. However, if you are not happy with your current vibration, you will need to make a conscious choice to focus your energy more on positive emotions and less on negative emotions in order to raise your vibration higher beyond the one you do not want in your life. If you do not want more bad news coming to you, do not be the one to start spreading it around to others. By giving others that which you desire, you indirectly increase that which comes back to you.

3) The Law of Action

The Law of Action must be applied in order for us to manifest things on earth. Therefore, we must engage in actions that support our words, feelings, vision, thoughts, dreams and emotions. These actions will bring us manifestation of various results which are dependent on our specifically chosen words, thoughts, dreams, and emotions.

~12 Universal Laws~ – The Mystical Lotus ~ Tiffany Stiles

4) The Law of Correspondence

The Law of Correspondence basically puts us in the drivers’ seat of our own lives. Our outer world is a direct reflection of our inner world, therefore, we need to accept responsibility for our own lives.

Another good example for this law is the fact that in the physical world, energy, vibration, light and motion have their corresponding principles in the Universe. This explains the relationship between the world of the ‘infinite small’ and the ‘infinite large’ otherwise called Microcosm and Macrocosm respectively.

~12 Universal Laws~ – The Mystical Lotus ~ Tiffany Stiles

5) The Law of Cause and Effect

The Law of Cause and Effect states that nothing happens by chance or outside the Universal Laws. This means that, we have to take responsibility for everything that happens in our lives. Every action has an equal reaction or consequence and it is what we sow that we reap. You cannot plant a hibiscus flower and expect to reap a Rose flower. In other words, every thought, action, words are full of energy.

6) The Law of Compensation

This Law of Compensation is the extended arm of the Law of Cause and Effect which is applied to abundance and blessings that flow into our lives in the form of friendships, gifts, money, inheritances and other forms of blessings. These various forms of compensation are the visible effects of our direct and indirect actions carried out throughout our lives.

7) The Law of Attraction

This Law of Attraction shows how we create the events, people and things that come into our lives. All our thoughts, words, feelings and actions give out energies which, likewise attract like energies.

Positive energies will always attract positive energies while negative energies will always attract negative energies. It doesn’t matter whether you want the negative or not. What you place your attention on, is what you attract into your life.

On the other hand, if you do not like the negative, you just need to raise your vibration higher and away from it in order to fully apply this Law of Attraction to work for you. For example, when anyone starts out thinking negatively, their vibration is lowered. As the focus on the problem rather than the solution becomes intense, the size and number of the problem will magnify as that’s where the person’s focus is.

8) The Law of Perpetual Transmutation of Energy

The Law of Perpetual Transmutation of Energy is a powerful one. It states that we all have power within us to change any condition in our lives that we are not happy with. Higher energy vibration will definitely consume and transform lower ones. Therefore, we can change the energies in our lives by understanding the Universal Laws and applying the principles in such a way as to effect a positive change in our lives.

9) The Law of Relativity

The Law of Relativity states that each person will receive series of situations or problems for the purpose of strengthening the ‘inner light’ within us. This law makes it possible for us to stay connected to our hearts when we proceed to solve the problems or remedy the situation which is a ‘test’ for us.

This law also teaches us to compare our situations to other people’s problems and put everything into its right perspective. No matter how bad we perceive our situations to be, there is always someone who is in a more difficult or worst situation thereby making it all relative.

Nobody is ever given a problem they will be unable to handle as we already have the ability to handle them. Do not spend your time looking for happiness from the outside as it already lies within you.

~12 Universal Laws~ – The Mystical Lotus ~ Tiffany Stiles

10) The Law of Polarity

The Law of Polarity states that everything is on a continuum and has an opposite. There has to be darkness so that we might appreciate Light. There is Solid and liquid and we can see and feel the difference. We have the ability to suppress and transform undesirable thoughts by focusing on the opposite thought thereby bringing the desired positive change. This could also be likened to the law of mental vibration

~12 Universal Laws~ – The Mystical Lotus ~ Tiffany Stiles

11) The Law of Rhythm

The Law of Rhythm states that everything vibrates and moves to a certain rhythm. This rhythm establishes cycles, seasons, patterns, and stages of development. Each cycle is a reflection of the regularity of God’s universe. To master each rhythm, you must rise above any negative part of the cycle.

~12 Universal Laws~ – The Mystical Lotus ~ Tiffany Stiles

12) The Law of Gender

The Law of Gender states that everything has its masculine (yang) and feminine (yin) principles, and that these are the basis for all creation in the Universe. As spiritual beings, we must ensure that there is a balance between the masculine and feminine energies within us in order for us to become true co-creators with God.
