10 Ways to Change a Liberal’s Mind…

Have you ever talked with a liberal and made a comment that shuts him down completely?  “Trump sure is getting a raw deal with that FBI raid, isn’t he?”  His eyes go glassy, and he starts to look for the exit.  Or he repeats something automatically, like “Trump deserves anything he gets.”

This “orange man bad” mantra is often called “Trump Derangement Syndrome.”  It effectively shuts down all communication between disagreeing sides and prevents any kind of meaningful dialogue, even between good friends or family members.  Even intelligent people who are suffering greatly from Biden/liberal policies, through loss of jobs, high gas and oil prices, rapid inflation, high taxes, or curbs on religious freedoms, won’t be able to change their minds and consider voting for a conservative or moderate candidate once he is somehow linked to Donald Trump.

They say, “If Trump is for it, then I am against it” even if that means they pay $5 a gallon for gas, can’t get formula for their babies, or can’t afford to heat their homes this winter.

Why does this happen?  How do people make up their minds, and why do they stubbornly refuse to change them?

You would think that people would evaluate important issues logically, like a math equation where 2+2=4, but this is not true with beliefs, especially when politics is involved.

Keith M. Bellizzi, professor of human development and family sciences, from the University of Connecticut, is among many who study cognitive psychology and neuroscience, and his article on the subject is a good start.  He explains that there are survival systems that are hard-wired into our brains that actually cause stubborn adherence to wrong beliefs.

“Belief perseverance” is one such system.  “Being presented with facts — whether via the news, social media or one-on-one conversations — that suggest their current beliefs are wrong causes people to feel threatened.”  They will reject the evidence, and often their original beliefs will become stronger.

“Confirmation bias” is “the natural tendency to seek out information or interpret things in a way that supports your existing beliefs.  Interacting with like-minded people and media reinforces confirmation bias.”  This is why liberals watch MSNBC and conservatives watch Fox.

The brain itself is hardwired to reinforce existing opinions and beliefs, even if this might cause harm.  When you win an argument, your body releases a rush of pleasurable hormones like dopamine and adrenaline.  In a high-stress or threatening situation, cortisol is released, which depresses your logical mind and triggers the more basic part of your brain, which controls fight or flight.  You “see red,” voices are raised, fists get clenched, and it’s much more difficult to understand what the other side is saying.

Other sociologists have identified other biases that effect logical vs. emotional thinking.

“Believing people from your tribe”

Humans developed in tribal cultures, which continue to this day.  You are much less likely to believe an outsider.  Nowadays, a tribe is not just a reference to ethnicity or religion, but also belief systems in global warming or abortion, where members are easily identified by how they look or what they say.

“The big lie”

People, by nature, are well intentioned, and they assume that others are as well.  So when they hear a lie, they tend to believe it.  Interestingly, the bigger the lie, the more likely it is to be believed because they assume that no one would lie about something of such importance.

All of these factors are related to survival going back to the earliest days of mankind.  If you constantly have to be re-evaluating your beliefs, such as “growling tigers are a reason to run,” then you might consider having a chat with such a tiger — and end up being his lunch.

So how can you reach people with closed minds?

1. Be from within their tribe.  Start by reinforcing what the two of you have in common — you may have lived in the same city, had similar jobs or similar backgrounds.

2. Get permission to discuss — “Would you like to tell me about your views on global warming?”  This makes the idea of a discussion non-threatening.

3. Resolve never to argue or raise your voice.  Don’t threaten or invoke fear.  If things start to become even a little heated, then withdraw — “we can always discuss this later” or “now may not be the time to discuss this.”  Getting into a heated argument is going to activate the liberal’s lizard brain and end logical reasoning.

4. Start small.  Don’t try to convince the liberal that Donald Trump is the next George Washington.  Go for a smaller issue that doesn’t challenge one of his core beliefs.  “Should Iran have a nuclear weapon?” or “Would it be good for China to control our farmland?”

5. Pick topics where you are well-versed.  Most of the people you will be talking with know very little factual information — they are used to hearing talking points and then parroting them back to you.

6. Ask questions.  There is nothing threatening about asking an honest question, especially about something that is important to the liberal.  Make it clear that you are open and willing to listen to his side and willing to change your mind.  There is a brain/hormone thrill associated with converting someone to his side that will entice him to interact.  Your openness models good behavior — if you’re willing to change your mind, then he should be open-minded as well.

7. Ask “why?”  Few can survive three “whys” in a row.  The brainwashed rarely know the logic behind what they parrot.

8. Focus on common sense and fairness.  “Does it make sense to spend $2 trillion to lower global temperature by 0.0006 degrees?”  “Does it seem fair to make a middle-class worker who never went to college pay for the student loan of a Harvard graduate with a women’s studies degree?”

9. If you start to see the liberal’s resistance crumbling, share how you used to feel how he did, but you changed your mind when you learned new information.

10. If you get him to change his mind on one topic, don’t gloat or insist that he admit he was wrong.  Just say, “I’m glad we had a chance to discuss this.  I learned a lot from you.  I hope we can talk again in the future.”  Then come back another time with a different topic that is more important.

Changing minds is not a quick process.  Patience and self-control are essential.  Unless we can learn how to speak to our fellow Americans in a kind and understanding manner, we will never heal the divide in our nation.

Why Did Karl Marx Love “Democracy?”

Idiots and Communists protest “voter suppression” laws.

NY Times: Voting Rights Push, as States Make Voting Harder

President Biden says he won’t keep “quiet” any longer about protecting ballot access. But voting rights groups say he should’ve raised his voice months ago.

Though it’s encouraging to see that the re-balled faction of the Republican’t Party is making bold efforts to finally get Demonrat voter fraud under control; the problem of universal voting rights will, unfortunately, never be addressed. Yes, stopping the dead from resurrecting on Election Day and blocking alien greaseballs from the polls is a worthwhile effort; but just imagine what a better country we would have if “democracy” could be restricted to those born-in-the-USA (or lived here legally for at least 15 years) and aged greater than say, 25 — who can document and demonstrate some moderate levels of financial self-sufficiency, literacy and civic knowledge. Throw in a $25 dollar “skin-in-the-game” poll-tax and watch how fast such riff-raff-proofed elections begin to yield better (or at least less rotten) fruit than the run-of-the-mill scum who get elected to office now, even without fraud.

Effeminate libtards and dumb-as-dirt normies would, of course, shriek in horror over such “fascist” limitations on “voting rights”. They’d say that anything less than universal suffrage would be “un-American.” Yet, limitations on “democracy”  — through means such as poll-taxes and property requirements — were exactly what the nation’s founders wanted! Messrs. Jefferson, Madison, Franklin, Adams et al. — master historians all — each understood that “pure democracy” (as opposed to republican / rule-of-law democracy) would, in due time, lead to chaos, corruption, destruction and tyranny. James Madison, principal author of the U.S. Constitution and 4th U.S. President, wrote the following in Federalist Paper #10:

“Such democracies have ever been spectacles of turbulence and contention; have ever been found incompatible with personal security or the rights of property; and have in general been as short in their lives as they have been violent in their deaths.

Tell it, Mr. President. Tell it!

1. Poll Taxes were once considered as American as Apple Pie — and they prevented the riff-raff from being herded into voting blocs by “get out the vote” operatives. // 2. President Lyndon Baines Johnson congratulates Marxist Loser King after signing the 1965 “Voting Rights Act” which banned literacy tests and poll taxes among the states. (All of a sudden, Demonrats were against a tax???) // 3. James Madison DID NOT want universal suffrage. Voting in the days of the early republic was restricted to property-owning males.

The bad idea of “universal suffrage” without regard for qualifications or mental acuity of any kind was hatched in the minds of “the usual suspects.”

Karl Marx himself made it clear in the Communist Manifesto and other works that “democracy”

was the key to overthrowing the “bourgeois” and achieving the communist “dictatorship of the proletariat.”  The bellowing bearded bum wrote:

“The first step in the revolution by the working class, is to raise the proletariat to the position of ruling class, to win the battle for democracy. “In the modern application of Marxist subversion, the obsession with unlimited “voting rights” ties in perfectly with the Left’s unremitting assault on God, family, community, sanity, beauty and morality. You see, the more that a people can be broken down into amoral, alienated, fatherless singletons devoid of virtue, industriousness, intelligence and natural support networks; the more dependent riff-raff there will be available for Marxist / Globalist political agitators to organize and bestow “voting rights” upon. Manufacture and import enough dummies and degenerates and, in due time, (((they))) will

indeed “win the battle for democracy” — even if voter fraud is eliminated.

To close this out with a Mike King original — “Democracy”

is the manure from which the poisonous Marxist mushroom sprouts.

When low-life welfare riff-raff and angry ignorant mobs exercise their “voting rights” — the usual suspects win.

“CEOngress” is Defending Voter Fraud!

CEOs for Voter Fraud

APRIL 14, 2021

NY Times:

Defying Republicans, Big Companies Keep the Focus on Voting Rights

An extra-governmental branch of the American power structure — let’s call it, the US CEOngress — has in recent years surpassed the power of the state itself in some ways. What the Globalists cannot, because of political realities, achieve through legislation or regulation; (((they))) are increasingly getting done through the CEOngress. Indeed, it was the internal initiatives imposed by the Executive Club of America — not the political class — which, exactly as foretold by the 2019 Gates / WHO “Event 201” and in conjunction with Fake News hype — unleashed and enhanced Stupid-19 mania. By the time the Demonrat Governors and Mayors joined the frenzy of fear engineered by the “public-private-partnership,” ™ Trump was already boxed-in by the coming “tide of history.” ™

Prior to Stupid-19, the CEOngress had already, on its own and independent of any state entity, advanced the Globalist causes of LGBT , the Climate Con, anti-Whiteness and anti-copism. And now, the empty suits are lining up against recent laws in Georgia and Texas that are designed to prevent voter fraud.

From the article:

“With Republicans in Texas and other states continuing to advance restrictive election legislation, corporate chieftains around the country have stepped up their efforts in recent days to oppose such laws and defend voting rights.”

Among the CEOs hurling threats at various states seeking to implement better ID systems for voting are Doug Parker of American Airlines — whose company requires passengers to present a photo ID before boarding an airplane; and Ken Chenault of American Express — whose company requires customers to disclose personal and financial data in order to obtain a credit card; and Ken Frazier of Merck — whose drugs often require photo ID in order to be dispensed at the pharmacy. Think about that!

Ken Frazier (Merck)  — and many others like them are influencing the nation’s politics independent of the elected political class.

After doing its part to promote the Stupid-19 plot that so damaged the “Trump Economy,” CEOngress again conspired to thwart Trump’s efforts to challenge the fraudulent election results. A few months after the fact, Globalist Slime (Time) Magazine, in its February 4, 2021 issue, could not contain its demonic desire to gloat about what had happened:

“An odd thing happened amid Trump’s attempts to reverse the result: corporate America turned on him. Hundreds of major business leaders called on him to concede. To the President, something felt amiss. “It was all very, very strange,” Trump said on Dec. 2. “Within days after the election, we witnessed an orchestrated effort to anoint the winner, even while many key states were still being counted.”

In a way, Trump was right.

There was a conspiracy unfolding behind the scenes, one that both curtailed the protests and coordinated the resistance from CEOs. Both surprises were the result of an informal alliance between left-wing activists and business titans. The pact was formalized in a terse, little-noticed joint statement of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce and AFL-CIO published on Election Day. Both sides would come to see it as a sort of implicit bargain.” (emphasis added)

Commies and “capitalists” conspiring amongst themselves for a common cause? That may seem counter-intuitive; but it’s really not when one understands that communism and cartel capitalism (not to be confused with small to mid-size competitive free enterprise) actually have much in common. Both “ideologies” are elitist, monopolistic, parasitic, and debt-money dependent. They therefore mesh very nicely together, in spite of what the ignorant true believers of both “opposing” camps may think.

Time Magazine actually confirms for us that Reds in the streets “conspired” with “capitalists” in the suites to take down Trump and uphold a fraudulent election. (here

For the benefit of those extreme “libertarians” who argue that corporations ought not be regulated because they are “private” entities; Thomas Jefferson (the original libertarian) wanted “restrictions over monopolies”
included in the Bill of Rights. (here)

Congressman Larry MacDonald, 1976: “The drive (of the Globalists)
is to create a one-world government combining super-capitalism and communism under the same tent, all under their control.”

This commie-capitalist blend has always been there; but only in recent years has the total corruption and consolidation of the CEO class into a single CEOngress been achieved. How did (((they))) manage to build this extra-governmental monster to its current strength? We actually did a lengthy piece on this subject a while back (here). In short, the dictatorship of CEOngress was rapidly consolidated through a relatively recent investment scheme known as ESG investing — which stands for Environmental Social & Corporate Governance.

The practice of ESG investing integrates Globalist objectives into investment decision-making. So, let us say that a publicly traded company fails to manifest sufficient internal and external “awareness”  or “sensitivity”  on issues like cross-dressing, genital mutilation of “trans” children, “diversity in the workplace,”  the Climate Con, “racism” , gun control, the Stupid-19 scamdemic, coerced vaccination, “voting rights,”  etc. — The GIGANTIC investment advisory groups — BlackRock, Vanguard & State Street  can and will then boot that company’s stocks out of certain ETF’s (Exchange Traded Funds). Conversely, if a company virtue-signals by adopting the “politically correct” libtarded agenda — its stock will be included in all of the major funds.

ESG is an extortion racket — and if we don’t get control of the power of CEOngress soon, elections will matter even less than they already do.

SG investing opened the door to allow the Big Three investment fund titans to dictate politics to all of the CEOs — who then direct that power against the liberties and prosperity of the American people (same for Europe, Canada & “Down Unda”)
